Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are students of the S6 and S4 History classes from the Scuola per l’Europa di Parma. We are Matteo, Michael, Alberto, Sabrina, Davide, Noel, Victor, Martina, Irida and Lilla. We come from different countries in Europe and beyond.
Today, as we gather to commemorate Italy's Liberation Day, we honor the sacrifices and resilience of those who fought for the freedom of our beloved nation. It is a day to remember the courage of the partisans who fought from the streets to the hills. Who didn’t stop at the sight of adversity but persevered on the path to a better Italy.
We want to remember and not forget.
On this day we remember the struggles and hardships endured by the people during the dark times of occupation and oppression.
We pay tribute to all those who gave their lives in the pursuit of freedom and renew our commitment to protecting the principles of democracy, justice and equality for generations to come.
We want to remember and not forget.
As we celebrate today, we also reaffirm our solidarity with all nations striving for freedom and peace.
We are but a few students with a passion to build a world where all can live in freedom and dignity, where there is no hate and violence. We want to build a European society in which conflicts are resolved with reason and compromise. Because only together can we truly be strong.
We want to remember and not forget.

Signore e signori,
Siamo studenti dei corsi di Storia delle classi S6 e S4 della Scuola per l’Europa di Parma. Siamo Matteo, Michael, Alberto, Sabrina, Davide, Noel, Victor, Martina, Irida e Lilla. Proveniamo da diversi paesi europei e di tutto il mondo.
Oggi, mentre ci riuniamo per commemorare la Giornata della Liberazione dell'Italia, onoriamo i sacrifici e la resilienza di coloro che hanno combattuto per la libertà della nostra amata Nazione. È un giorno per ricordare il coraggio dei partigiani che combatterono dalle strade alle colline. Che non si sono fermati di fronte alle avversità ma hanno perseverato nel cammino verso un’Italia migliore.
Vogliamo ricordare e non dimenticare
In questo giorno ricordiamo le difficoltà sopportate dalle persone durante i tempi bui dell’occupazione e dell’oppressione.
Rendiamo omaggio a tutti coloro che hanno dato la vita per la ricerca della libertà e rinnoviamo il nostro impegno a tutelare i principi di democrazia, giustizia e uguaglianza per le generazioni a venire.
Vogliamo ricordare e non dimenticare
Mentre celebriamo questo giorno, riaffermiamo anche la nostra solidarietà con tutte le nazioni che lottano per la libertà e la pace.
Siamo solo pochi studenti con la passione di costruire un mondo dove tutti possano vivere in libertà e dignità, dove non ci siano odio e violenza. Vogliamo costruire una società europea in cui i conflitti siano risolti con la ragione e il compromesso. Perché solo insieme possiamo veramente essere forti.
Vogliamo ricordare e non dimenticare.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
Wir sind Schüler der Klassen S6 Geschichte und S4 Geschichte von der Scuola per l‘Europa. Wir heißen Matteo, Michael, Alberto, Sabrina, Davide, Noel, Victor, Martina, Irida und Lilla. Wir kommen aus verschiedenen Ländern Europas und darüber hinaus.
Heute, da wir uns zum Gedenken an Italiens Tag der Befreiung versammeln, ehren wir die Opfer und die Widerstandskraft derjenigen, die für die Freiheit unserer geliebten Nation gekämpft haben. Es ist ein Tag, an dem wir uns an den Mut der Partisanen erinnern, die von der Straße bis in die Berge kämpften und sich nicht von ihrem Wunsch, einem Wunsch nach einem besseren Italien abbringen ließen.
Wir wollen erinnern und nicht vergessen.
An diesem Tag denken wir an die Kämpfe und Nöte, die die Menschen während der dunklen Zeiten der Besatzung und Unterdrückung ertragen mussten.
Wir zollen all jenen Tribut, die ihr Leben im Streben nach Freiheit gaben, und erneuern unsere Verpflichtung, die Grundsätze von Demokratie, Gerechtigkeit und Gleichheit für kommende Generationen zu schützen.
Wir wollen erinnern und nicht vergessen.
Während wir den heutigen Tag feiern, bekräftigen wir auch unsere Solidarität mit allen Nationen, die nach Freiheit und Frieden streben.
Wir sind nur wenige Schüler, aber wir haben auch einen Traum: lasst uns gemeinsam weiterhin eine Welt aufbauen, in der wir alle in Freiheit und Würde leben können, in der es kein Hass und Gewalt gibt.
Wir wollen eine Europäische Gesellschaft aufbauen, in der Konflikte mit Vernunft und Kompromissen gelöst werden.
Wir wollen erinnern und nicht vergessen.
